#B3ShortCuts welcomed Greg Tate to London on Friday night for an evening of insightful conversation, music and general good vibes.
We kicked off the programme with an introduction to his work and interests for those who were new to all things Greg Tate; the brief intro opened up to a Q&A with the audience firing questions
which overran briefly because let’s face it, who wouldn’t want more time to talk to Greg Tate?
Next up we were treated to a performance piece by our TalentLab Artist Lula Mebrahtu with her crew of collaborators on LulaBOX, a playful piece that demonstrates the almost limitless possibilities that MIMU gloves can offer!
To round off the evening #B3ShortCuts took over the café area at Ovalhouse Theatre for a live jam with Greg & The Bakol followed by a DJ set from the one and only Tony Nwachukwu until late. Beautiful evening, great vibes, cool people, a perfect start to our new residency in Kennington.
B3 salutes and thanks Greg Tate, Christina Wheeler, Satch Hoyt, Tony Nwachukwu, Lula Mebrahtu & friends!
To echo a lot of the comments we got on the way out: “Let's do it again and soon!”
