'Breasts are bubbles, rising in wet marshlands', is how Kutty Revathy's controversial Tamil poem 'Mulaigal' (Breasts) begins. The poem, when it was first published, caused quite a stir in its native Tamilnadu in India for its supposed explicit content. The film that it inspired uses the poem as a backdrop to explore the relationship that Asian women enjoy with their breasts.
